When FT used to be the small minority, they behave. Also when they just arrive they exercise 'self control'. Now they are in almost equal number to locals and many get PR or work permit to stay long and know the place quite well plus they know that they can sue even sinkies, they become very ya ya. I have seen quite a few cases of how they talk even to locals. To put it in a crude way, they dare to fart into your face and tell you so what?

This kind of situation occurred because these foreigners see local "no up" and the pappies as useless.

The pappies should kick out all these foreign rubbish from the island after court conviction, whether for jailable or non-jailable offences and all of them if they are serious about becoming law abiding residents will surely behave. Until then, the FTs will make this island their cowboy town.

First of all, this guy is no "FT". He has been in SG since kindergarten. he's always been based here until the new influx limited his opportunities in his industry a few years ago.

TBH has anyone tried hailing a cab in the city at night when you need one the most? Only in sinkaporea you meet cab drivers who pick and choose passengers. When it's raining don't drive.. not going within CBD area won't take passenger... near peak hour don't take.... fucking chow keng

It's definitely time LTA liberalise taxi industry to let in foreign drivers and wake up sinkie cabbies.

fucking weird to be talking about an incident when there's no story so that no proper judgement can be made.

SINGAPORE - A man used his sling bag to strike the rear windscreen of a taxi and cracked it, after the driver indicated his vehicle was not for hire.

On Wednesday, Malaysian Woon Chin Yee, 37, who is self-employed, was fined $4,000 after he admitted to committing mischief along River Valley Road at about 4am on July 13 last year. The damage cost $1,157.

A court heard that taxi driver Tan Ngiap Yeng, 42, was driving along River Valley Road in front of Clarke Quay Bungee when Woon, who is a Singapore permanent resident, and his friend tried to board it. He waved at them to signal that his taxi was not for hire and drove away slowly.

Woon, who was trying to board the taxi, released his hand on the taxi's passenger door as Mr Tan drove away. He then struck the rear window several times with his sling bag till it cracked.

The PAP won't even kick out convicted foreigners. We have a sick government.
