Man dies after being stabbed outside JB pub

A Singaporean prison officer was stabbed to death outside a pub in Johor on Sunday.
Only known as Ravi, the 43-year-old Changi Prison warden was leaving a popular joint with a friend, M Gunaseelan, 29, before they became victims of a surprise attack at about 5am, reportedThe Star newspaper.
Ravi was stabbed three times while his friend managed to escape with his life.
According to the Malaysian newspaper, Gunaseelan threw his wallet containing RM700 at the armed assailants and begged for his life.
Ravi, a Singapore PR, leaves behind a 39-year-old wife and a three-year-old daughter.
Malaysian police said that the fight broke out because of a misunderstanding after Ravi had brought in drinks purchased outside the pub.
