SINGAPORE: A 32-year-old man has been charged with two counts of forging documents.

The alleged offences are believed to have taken place on or before July 2 this year.

Leong Chee Kin is accused of faking a medical certificate (MC) dated June 25 this year.

He is also believed to have forged a document, purportedly issued on April 3, 2012, requiring him to report for reservist training.

For each charge, Leong faces a maximum penalty of four years' jail and a fine.
