Man arrested within 24 hours

SINGAPORE - A 28-year-old man was arrested for stealing a 13-year-old male victim at a shopping mall at Woodlands Square.
On March 7, the teen was robbed of his mobile phone at the multi storey carpark of the mall.
The police managed to establish the identity of the suspect during their investigations and arrested him at his home along Woodlands St 83 on March 8 at about 3 am.
If found guilty he can be jailed between 5 years and 20 years, and receive up to 12 strokes of the cane.
