Man arrested for suspected snatch theft attempts in Jurong West

The police have arrested a 47-year-old man, who is suspected of two snatch theft attempts in Jurong West housing estate.
The two incidents occurred on Friday, between 12 noon to 1pm. In the first case, the suspect attempted to snatch a mobile phone from a female victim but failed.
However, he later managed to snatch a mobile phone and an EZ Link card from another female victim.
The police found and detained the suspect on the same day, and recovered the stolen items.
