Man arrested for molesting woman in lift

SINGAPORE - A 28-year-old man has been arrested for molesting a 27-year-old woman in the lift of a block in Jurong West.
The incident took place on June 10 at about 12pm.
On Tuesday, the suspect was spotted in the same vicinity by the victim, who immediately notified the police. They responded quickly and managed to arrest the suspect at the scene.
The offence of outrage of modesty is punishable by imprisonment of up to two years, or a fine, and caning.
