Man arrested for molesting teen on bus

SINGAPORE - A 36-year-old man was arrested on Apr 3 for allegedly outraging the modesty of a 19-year-old girl onboard a bus.

The bus was travelling towards Jelebu Road from Bukit Batok Road when the incident occurred.

The bus captain stopped the bus and called for the police when the victim alerted him.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police interviewed the suspect and arrested him at about 7.35pm.

If found guilty, the man can be jailed up to 2 years, and/or fined, and/or caned.
