Man arrested for allegedly molesting woman on bus

SINGAPORE - A 44-year-old man suspected of molesting a woman on a public bus has been arrested, the police said in a statement today.
The 25-year-old victim lodged a report on Sep 19 regarding the incident that took place on Aug 31 in Marsiling.
Following extensive ground enquiries, the police managed to establish the suspect's identity. He was arrested Yishun on Sep 23 at about 10am, the police said.
The man is also believed to be involved in a similar case of outrage of modesty reported on Sep 22.
He will be charged in court on Sep 25. If convicted, he faces up to two years in jail, a fine and caning.
