Man, 44, runs 1.5km naked from Bendemeer to Jalan Besar after crashing motorcycle into taxi

He was naked for reasons unknown.
A naked man was spotted running through the streets of Jalan Besar on Oct. 29, at around 11am.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the man was a motorcyclist who collided with a taxi along Bendemeer Road and landed on the roof of the vehicle.
The man then ran 1.5km while injured before eventually reaching Jalan Besar.Along the way, the man took off his clothes for reasons unknown, Shin Min reported.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to a road traffic accident along Bendemeer Road on Oct. 29 at around 11am.
One person was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.The Singapore Police Force said the 44-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital and is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Thrown over the roof
The taxi driver involved in the accident told the Chinese media that he was ferrying a female passenger when a motorcycle rear-ended the taxi.
The accident caused the motorcyclist to land on the roof of the vehicle.The driver did not brake immediately, stating that he was afraid that the rider would fall off.
He then slowed his taxi down and came to a stop, but the motorcyclist climbed down from the roof and crossed the road before the driver could say anything.
The taxi driver described the motorcyclist as a Chinese man wearing a red shirt and dark pants.
The man appeared to be in a daze and was behaving strangely, wandering back and forth across the road before disappearing from the driver's sight, said Shin Min Daily News.The vehicle was severely damaged, with the rear window shattered.
The taxi driver said the impact was very great and scared his passenger.
Footage of naked man online
Footage of the man stripping off his clothes and running down the road was also uploaded on the Chinese social media platform, Xiaohongshu.The man appeared to be unharmed and was running at a considerable speed through heavy traffic.
However, the video has since been removed.
One passerby apparently told the taxi driver that he followed the motorcyclist all the way to Jalan Besar.
The motorcyclist was apparently bleeding from his head and groin.According to Shin Min, the rider apparently felt dizzy after the incident and was injured around his groin.
However, there was no explanation given as to why he ran down the road naked at the time.
