Man, 24, dies following lightning strike near Pasir Ris Beach

Then why buy Yishun resale? His wife a longtime Yishun girl?
His parents lived in Yishun farm - landed property - before government acquired the land.

Moving to a HDB flat then was a massive upgrade. He wanted to live near to his parents' place.

Reactions: Nut
It's floating on plastic drums tied to wooden planks and with fish nets as tanks. No conductors.
you can use sea water as a grounding medium for a lightning rod on a fishing farm platform. In fact sea water is an excellent conduction medium much better than the land-base grounding earth soil.

How did the medic touch the victims without getting electrocuted?
When a victim is struck by lightning, the electrical discharge is transitory and passes into the ground immediately. Consequently, the body does not retain an electrical charge, meaning a medic can safely touch the victim without the risk of being electrocuted.

Clear skies and yet tio lightning strike. Final destination indeed.
Although rare, this phenomenon occurs when water vapor evaporating from the sea or ground forms clouds with an electrical polarity opposite to that of the earth. When the buildup of these charges becomes sufficiently strong, a lightning strike is triggered to discharge the energy into the ground.
