A 70-year-old hawker in Taiping, who was pronounced dead by a doctor, was found to be still alive four hours later, Sin Chew Daily reported.
Sadly, the hawker, Chen Cai Yu, died for real at about 3pm on Monday.
Chen was found unconscious by her family at her house at about 8am on the same day.
A doctor who was called to her house told them that Chen had died.
The family began preparations for the funeral.
However, things turned chaotic at 1pm when one of Chen’s grandsons claimed he had detected a heartbeat.
They called another doctor, who confirmed she was still alive.
She was then rushed to the hospital.
However, her heartbeat was very weak and she died two hours later.
