The Malaysian exhibitionist-cum-scholar Alvin Tan Jye Yee has said that he will not be continuing his law studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), but will instead interview people on sex for YouTube.
Tan’s scholarship was terminated by NUS, but he was not expelled from his law studies for uploading explicit pictures and videos of himself and his girlfriend having sex.
Tan will need to pay full, unsubsidised fees as a foreign student should he decide to conclude his final year of law studies at NUS.
Tan reportedly told the Straits Times:
Thanks to the ‘pro-foreign-talents’ policy of the ruling party, Tan need not repay a single cent of his scholarship fees.

Tan reportedly told the Straits Times:
We may go to Singapore to film street interviews where we ask Singaporeans to discuss controversial topics such as rape or incest.
When asked if he intends to return to his law studies after his semester of suspension, Tan said:
I can only go back in August when the next semester starts but it is very unlikely that I will.
Tan added that his future plans for the degree would be to transfer credits to another university in Malaysia.
Thanks to the ‘pro-foreign-talents’ policy of the ruling party, Tan need not repay a single cent of his scholarship fees.
