A Malaysian man plunged to his death from the 14th floor of an apartment building in an upscale neighborhood in Hanoi on Wednesday, Vietnam News Agency reported.
The man, whose name has not been revealed, died immediately in the fall from the 17-T8 Apartment Building in Trung Hoa-Nhan Chinh Residential Area at around 7 a.m., the report said.
The man was 54 years old and lived in the building, according to a VNA source.
Local police said they performed an autopsy on his body, and they are still investigating.
Last December, two people died after falling from two other apartment buildings in the Trung Hoa-Nhan Chinh Residential Area within one day.
Trung Hoa-Nhan Chinh is a centre of important headquarters, banks and enterprises, and was considered by Do Thi (Urban) e-magazine to be Hanoi's most desirable urban area in 2008.
