SINGAPORE: A 54鈥攜ear鈥攐ld Malaysian man was charged with molesting a woman at the Istana during the Hari Raya Puasa open house on August 30.
Woo Fok Meng, alias, Woo Tok Meng allegedly touched and squeezed a 39鈥攜ear鈥攐ld woman鈥檚 right buttock with his right hand at around 4pm that day.
Woo, who stood in the dock dressed in a grey long鈥攕leeved top and dark鈥攃oloured trousers, told the court that he intends to engage a lawyer.
His case will be mentioned again on September 13.
If found guilty of molest, Woo can be jailed up to two years and fined or caned.
