Fan favourite Lee Zii Jia is the last man standing in badminton for Malaysia, and he's expected to keep the Jalur Gemilang flying in Paris with a win over Denmark's Anders Antonsen in the men's singles quarter-finals later at 1.55am, and march into the final four.

He is the only one in the current crop who stands a good chance of beating Axelsen in terms of playing style.

He does not jump around like a monkey. His style is similar to Chen Long with equally good backhand.

Indonesia used to have good badminton players. Why we don’t see so many good Indonesia players now ?

That was a time when there was no competition from China because China and Indonesia belonged to different badminton federations.

Indonesia players were good, but it was a time when players in other parts of Asia were shitty - Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. But not anymore.

All the new players are too short.

The greatest Indonesian players were of Chinese ancestry: Tang Hsien Hu, Hou Chia Chang, Rudy Hartono, Liem Swie King (the first two migrated from China)
