PASIR GUDANG, Johor – Seven individuals, including a Singaporean, who were detained on May 17 in connection with the Ulu Tiram police station attack in Johor have been remanded for seven days.
The remand order was issued by magistrate Hidayatul Syuhada Shamsudin at the Seri Alam District Police Headquarters, for May 18 to 24.
The remand was ordered to assist investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

SINGAPORE – A 20-year-old man was arrested in Commonwealth Avenue on the evening of Feb 3, after the police were alerted to a man holding a chopper there.

Seven people, including a six-year-old girl, were injured, with a knife and chopper seized by the police.

The police said they received a call about a man holding a chopper at 301 Commonwealth Avenue at about 7.05pm.
