MALAYSIA - Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim has chided the Opposition for politicising the RM2.3mil (S$907,000) utility bills of the Prime Minister's official residence.

He said the cost covered the entire residential complex and not just that of the residence.

"The utility bill covers the multi-purpose hall, seminar rooms and other complex areas, including staff quarters.

"There is no difference in the electricity rate at Seri Perdana compared to the kampung (village)," he told a press conference at the Parliament lobby.

The Prime Minister's Office had earlier revealed that the amount was spent on electricity throughout last year, including RM311,174.25 (S$122,605.76) for water.

This is a good example of how dumbfuck opposition supporting retards do not understand what they are complaining about when they complain about ministerial salary in SG. Singapore will never have that kind of issue

This is a good example of how dumbfuck PAPzi supporting retards do not understand that SINKIELAND actually has similar issue which has been allowed to fester for decades:

How much is the Istana’s utility bill?
By the way, Istana is official residence
Of the President, titular Head of State
Not of the Prime Minister
Head of Government who does not
Have an official residence but some Ex
Has stayed in the Istana
Since when? As a squatter?
How much back rents must pay?

How much is the old fart sucking out of the gahment coffers yearly? Apart from his lame duck MP salary

the next kampung tap his electricity lah. gotong royong.

where is kopi uncle?

Whether it is Singapore or Malaysia, who foots the utilities bill? Is it the State or PM? If both the PMs pay the bills out of their pockets, then the voters should appreciate them. However, if the state pays their bills, then it is a case of free loading ie taking advantage of their office. This should not be so as many citizens are struggling to pay their bills.

You mean Tony Tan pay the Istana's electricity bill?

All I know we are paying for the F1 electrical bill...$150 million.

It is so well lit that it is even brighter than most hours of the day...

And then I wonder why they call it a Night Race...

There's only one valid reason for high utility bills - Soapy Massages! :D

his salary is very low. but his gross unofficial income is pretty huge. I think maybe more than all MIW combine.
