PM: Huge policy changes coming

Pro active changes to bring in foreigners and grant them PR.

PETALING JAYA: The Government will soon announce huge policy changes in an effort to retain skilled workers and boost the economy, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Prime Minister said the Talent Corporation was launched to try and retain those who had been trained and to persuade Malaysians living abroad to return.

“We will also be more open and welcome foreigners who want to work here. We will make it easier for them to work, get a visa or PR to stay here.

“There is going to be a huge change in government policies. Much more open and progressive policies will be implemented as we move forward,” he said during an interview on CNN’s Talk Asia segment broadcast last night.

The one-on-one interview with Anna Coren was recorded in the last week of October.

On national unity, he said efforts were ongoing to strengthen this with the 1Malaysia concept on the right track.

Najib also addressed issues of racial and religious tensions including incidents of desecration of some churches and mosques earlier this year, stating that this did not reflect the stand of most Malaysians.

As to why Western performers such as American Idol’s Adam Lambert and Rihanna were told to tone down their acts and cover up when performing here, he explained that it was to strike a middle ground so as not to upset the sensitivities of certain groups.

On the affirmative action and New Economic Policy, he said the bone of contention with the NEP was not with its objectives, but inclusiveness and implementation.

He said he was more concerned with the lower income 40% bracket of society, including non-bumiputras who earned less than RM3,000 per month.

Looks like Matland is in the midst of waking up from her very long an ddeep slumber.

The report is indeed true. My Malayisan mates in Melbourne attended some "career opportunties in Malaysia" event there and quite a few of them got pretty decent job offers from both public and private sector. One of them has decided to go back to Matland for good.

So what has that piece of shite Contact Singapore done for Singaporeans!? Last that i know of them, they were busy hunting for foreigners in melbourne to fill up the job vacancies in Singapore and telling Singaporeans to stand a side and go fuck spider!:oIo:
