His credentials as Penang CM speaks for itself. You need a Cina to helm the Finance portfolio but sadly LGE hands were tied by many things beyond his control. Put an UMNO Mat as Finance Minister and he would spend all on his fellow Bumiputras. Malaysia is truly way beyond repair as a country. Even during BN's time, Sabah and Sarawak didn't receive a fair allocation from the federal Government but East Malaysian politicians like Taib Mahmud didn't voice their displeasure.
