Did Malaysia and Singapore conspire to con their citizens?

Malaysia increased toll by RM20 in Nov and Singapore "retaliated" by equal increment of S$6.40. But was this increment agreed behind closed doors? Both govts win by collecting more levies. The losers are Malaysians and Singaporeans

When Malaysia retaliate SG's fee increase, Malaysian govt collects more money. When SG govt retaliates against Malaysia fee increase, SG govt collects more money.

The losers are Malaysians and Singaporeans

in terms of duration/sum, zikapore far outstrips msia.

in terms of effects, we need to be more precise. like many of the msian vehicles entering here are goods vehs but there are not affected (fixed at 10 bucks?) etc etc.

but this "one for one" is really dumb cos zikapore started the whole thing. the thief shouting catch the thief.

Yes, pap uses the law to collect as much money as possible. Like you said, pap, the thief, shouts "catch the thief"

Look at how pap uses the law to not pay singaporeans their CPF money by making MedishieldLife compulsory, CPF Life compulsory. Now PAP is contemplating making Eldershield Life compulsory. PAP is using the law to deny singaporeans the return of their CPF

i am glad we have VEP to discourage malaysian cars from using our roads. they are contributing to congestion without paying COE, ARF and road tax.

PAP always use money as the easy way to "solve" problems. Road congestion, increase ERP. Too many cars, use COE. Prevent foreign cars from contributing to road jam, use VEP. All too simple but dont solve the problem, No need to use brains.

So when PAP uses VEP, dont blame Malaysia for use toll

i think malaysia should raise toll charges to MYR 100. but they don't have the balls to do so.

If toll is MYR100, malaysia will collect MYR65million a year from SG cars.

PAP will increase toll to S$32 per car
