dont have to head overseas, can be done locally...enrolled in international schools instead of enrolling in local schools...or hired a english teacher either from canada, usa or england (pending on the type standards of english pronunciation u would like to learn)...

You guys seem to have a small circle of colleagues and or friends. Either that or Malays are not in the circle of friends. Their english is no different to any other Singaporean. Malays going to mission school or the top govt schools speak thevsame as well. The standard of English has certainly deteriorated over the years for all Singaporeans. As they don't perform as well as others, there are few on top. Fauziah is really good.
