As long as UMNO continuing giving out large pies of Govt tenders to these Bumiputras, they will never succeed in convincing their Malays to get out of their time warped brains.. The Malays there had been spoon fed by the Govt since the day they were born.. Govt scholarships, Govt tenders, lands, jobs.... It will take decades for them to learn how to stand on their own 2 feets without the favourable Govt handouts being accorded to them...Can't blame the Malaysian Chinese and the Indians for they have suffered alot in this silly Bumiputra policy for decades...

In the first few decades many non-bumis left Malaysia. Somewhere in the 80s, the trend stopped. They seemed to have factored the 2nd class citizenship into their psyche and it continues. In a way, it is similar to Indonesia where despite the rape and riots, they continue with life.

What's Wrong With Sri Vijaya ?

If they are still Hindu or Buddhism believers, things will be much simpler with us Indians and Chinese living here. Compatibility may be the key to peace. But, we have many illegal Islamic groups coming out of these people that can be deadly and obstructive to advancement too. Much money is pumped into security and it is unproductive.
