how they dare not put it this way: ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO WITHDRAW THEIR CPFS....many make shrewd investments and become millionaires? why always showing a prejudiced side to enhance their evil motive?

everything the gahmen say....head they win, tail we lose.

CPF is our saving, our $. we ve the right to use it. if we wanna throw it away, it's our business and not the gahmen's. can we tell them to reduce their pays? cannot cos it's their business to get as more pays as possible. is it our business? definitely NO!

remember:

VOTE THEM OUT IN THE NEXT GE!!

Stopping people from withdrawing their CPF at 55 because some people may spend all their savings away is like banning people from driving because some people may drive irresponsibly and kill people in road accidents.

Agree.

Your analogy is flawed.

A more accurate analogy is the imposition of speed limits. The majority of drivers are not reckless and drive to the conditions. However, because there are some F1 wannabies who think they own the road, speed limits have to be imposed on ALL drivers including the careful ones to prevent carnage caused by these lunatic drivers.

CPF is similar. The majority are careful spenders but because some would blow their savings, a minimum sum needs to be imposed.

ah leong ah ,
majority = great in number
some = a few
so majority win.
it is as you said in another tread :
Democracy means you listen to the majority and 60.1% endorse them to the hilt.
:D :D :D

Just imagine if there is business run by most of the peoples in this forum, do you dare to invest in it???:rolleyes:

That's only when it comes to the democratic election process. Once a government is in place, the laws passed apply to all. It is the same in all democracies.

its the majority who will end up footing the bill of the minority when they blow all their cash.

taxes will have to go up to guarantee a safety net for the irresponsible minority.

year in and year out; erection in and erection out..... and still we remain SCREWED by the pap. wonder how would it be without ky?
