PrezTrump had announced that he will make America affordable again, to help drive further down inflationary pressures so that even a jiakliaobee can afford to have a hot meal, aspiring civilization builders such as the young can obtain a better life in one's life journey, and elderly retired whom had worked hard for years and had contributed to the Nation can look forward to better sunset years.
It's a commendable aspiration from PrezTrump, although complexities abound, but if the will is there, it CAN happen.
A. Set up an Economic Development Board like Singapore. Already, it has some of the best in economics such as Kevin Hasset, Scott Bessent and many more under NEC- National Economic Council - it just needs to go a bit more further.
i) Agriculture, food, manufacturing and production.
Although USA is a RESOURCE RICH Nation, with HUGE, HUGE agriculture lands, still their products are not cheap. The root cause is both greed and logistics - labor costs, petrol, etc, to bring such products to the internal markets. There ARE many more independent farmers, but when they can gain higher prices for their excess products, especially now when USA is on a policy of self product independence, they raise their prices and eventually it is the American consumers whom pays the higher prices.
Thus, in order to avoid FARMING CARTEL-like behaviors, the NEC should instead REACH OUT to foreign Nations such as in Asia, Africa, India and Australia. Their agriculture production is less costly and competitive than American farmers. Forgo the regime change policies, as such had not been proven to work. Just buy at negotiated prices, as their greed eventually takes over and THEY are responsible to their citizens, being the leaders....
With cheaper foreign supplies, the Farming Cartels will realize that their greed will get them no where, and realization of economic truths will set in, and rationality returns, thru better and innovative TECH to improve their agriculture yields to be competitive...
ii) Technology.
While USA leads the World in Tech, there are far more intelligent heads such as in Japan, Taiwan, S.Korea and to a certain extend - India. There is NO need to invite their talents into USA. It only needs COLLABORATION - thru due diligence taken up biz partnerships - to combine such talents and funds within their country for tech production and if such labor, political, risks and land costs are on the high side, as such are small nations, other bigger ASIAN nations awaits such investments with lower costs that would NOT turn on investors such as what communist China had done.
Communist China had played the game of copycat and stole innovations. With such innovations, it had made leaps in tech that at times super-ceded the originals that they had stolen, by building upon knowledge obtained, as well as their PRESUMED advantage - economy of scale based upon their huge population but NOT a market of consumers......
Two can play such games. Just as they had copied unconscionably, so too can others do the same to them, BUT study the blueprints and manufacturing processes, to ensure BETTER quality and sustainable products are made to rival China's attempted dominance, and create far far bigger Factories of the World, OUTSIDE of communist China, and give Americans a better choice, better quality and lower priced products to starved off home inflationary pressures and dependences.
How does a Weyland - Otani Corporation dealing in Robotics in Samoa and Christmas Island sounds like to an investor?
