日前數十名越南籍非法外來人口揪團到台東及墾丁進行3天2夜旅遊，沒想到早被移民署南區事務大隊台南市專勤隊盯上，26日在國道3號關廟路段攔截他們搭乘的遊覽車，一舉查獲42名越南籍非法外來人口，全部帶回漏夜追查有無違法情事，並將依規定執行遣返。
據了解，該旅遊團共45人，由其中1名合法居留的越籍新住民揪團，參加旅遊團者多為非法居留者，更有33人是失聯移工，於南投埔里一帶茶園當採茶工人，其他還有人是逾期停留、漏跳船員。
移民官獲報後循線逐步鎖定遊覽車動態，利用該團北返南投途中，協調國道公路警察局在國道3號關廟路段攔截遊覽車，引導至關廟服務區，車子一停靠，眾多移民官立即蜂擁而上，包夾圍堵前後車門，車內查處對象一見插翅也難飛，原本充滿歡樂的車內氣氛瞬間急速凍結。
移民官上車檢查過程中，有名男性非法外來人口一度企圖衝撞安全門，甚至還有身材嬌小的女子躲藏在遊覽車座位下，以為可以躲過移民官的法眼，結果因為甕中捉鱉無處可逃。
台南市專勤隊隊長熊德仁表示，移民署將持續加強查察，遏止違法外來人口滯台從事非法行為，也呼籲國人不要貪圖便利非法聘僱，依就業服務法可裁罰15萬元以上，75萬元以下罰鍰，5年內再犯更涉及刑責，最重可處3年以下有期徒刑、拘役或科或併科120萬元以下罰金。
