Can you find a country where its not illegal to demand leasees pay taxes and maintenance feesIn the USA, what you buy is truly yours.
In Sinkieland, nothing is really yours, not even 'freehold'.

truth be told, there is a huge mega difference between a leasehold and a freehold (referring to overseas freehold). In SG, leaseholders aka leasees are conditioned to think that they are owners of the property lol... and spend the next 30 years or so slogging to pay off the "mortgage" which eventually will becomes zero....
