Just met a guy in his late 40s without a handphone or smartphone, no computer or tablet, and no tv or radio at home. And it's not that he can't afford. This chap has lots of money and stays in a landed property somewhere in Frankel Ave. I asked him how people contact him and how he stay in touch with the world. He said people can call his house, and if he's not in, they can try calling again later. And to him, the world is still the same. Nothing bothers him. Eccentric chap, but wise!

Yes, i believe. RUN came across many rich people from 30s to 50s who truly don't have dataplan for mobile phone = no Whatsapp or Wechat. I understand that these rich people are just too polite not to reply messages in these chat apps but they would be simply overwhelmed by it if they have the service.

Of course, no HP in your case is more weird.

I've met quite a few myself. They're all idiotic dumbfucks who will not lift a finger if they see a baby injured on the road-side.

Same as, I'm sure, you'll see a few of these men and women who will be super deligent to feed the stray cats day in day out. To you, maybe they're kind-hearted but if you observe deeper, they're actually not that sociable and you'll never see them performing other kind-hearted deeds. There's a medical background to this affliction. Oh yes, it is an affliction. These people had contracted a bateria when they petted the cats and this bateria had modified their brain circuit to made them zombie to the cats and without fail, will feed the cats because these cats are infected with the same bateria.

Maybe he don't want to give U his phone number. So say no hand phone. But indeed, there are people who shun/ don't need to use smart phone (e.g. secretary handles all email n paper work and call HP to confirm stuff)...
