Love Story: He's 20 years older than me, but I love him for who he is
Even though he's 20 years older, STOMPer Valerie Bel says her partner is the special someone she's always been looking for.
The STOMPer shares her love story:
"Till the start of my relationship with Mr Neo Sing Hong, I never expected to be loved and pampered again.
"He has been with me from 26 Nov 2009 till now. It is not very long but he's been through ups and downs with me without giving up.
"I have been hurt in my past relationships.
"As time went by, I did not trust anyone until he appeared, and showed me that our age difference was not a problem
"He was over 20 years older than me.
"I though it would not be possible because of the differences. Now, I can loudly say "Never try never know".
"Fortunately I found the special someone who is simple yet caring.
"As I'm in the nightlife industry, there will often be quarrels and misunderstandings, but to him I'm always forgiven.
"Even if he's jealous, he'll just tell me instead of quarrelling to let me understand how he feels.
"With my previous broken marriage, it's hard for me to commit or trust anyone.
"So I tested his commitment to me in many ways.
"When he went to a nightclub with his buddies, I told them to find a female escort to keep him company.
"Yet, he rushed back home without enjoying and asked me why I did that?
"He sends me to work daily and even gives up his precious sleeping hours to accompany me for night shopping at Mustafa.
"The most recent is our 1st year anniversary, when I was told that he'll be working on the very day.
"I didn't think that he'll remember our anniversary. But, to my surprise he had planned a one day trip to JB for us.
"After all this while of being together with his endless care and understanding, he made me walk out of my darkness.
"Giving me freedom and yet supporting me in whatever I do.
"Trusting me on every single thing and respecting me for who I am.
"Thanks my special someone! I love you for who you are and thank you for all the effort and love that you have shown."
