Well, what have I been saying all along?

July 2023, OBS is arrested for corruption and bribery of a Govt Official. He knows he is in big trouble because they have already moved against Iswaran. If Iswaran was not guilty, he would not have been arrested. OBS knew as the briber, he will be 100% found guilty too.

Aug 2023, Shan sells his GCB at 6, Astrid Hill for $88 million. After some time on the market with no takers, it is suddenly sold for almost a record price, where every property agent would have said it was worth a lot less then that. And sold to a nominee company so no one knows who is the buyer. The buyer probably is Chinese because of the price $88 million.

So, the question is whether this is all a coincidence or a bribe to Shan for a lenient sentence? The 2 facts to consider is:

1) Why would the Law Minister sell to an anonymous buyer when Singapore is caught on the world stage for major money laundering scandals? Of all people in Singapore, you would think the Law Minister should be beyond reproach in his financial dealings. The only proper way is for Shan to say "If you want me to sell to you my GCB, you must disclose who you are so there is no conflict of interest". But that did not happen. A drug dealer could have bought Shan's GCB and launder his money that way.

2) OBS is notorious for playing with senior govt officials. Remember the Nassim Jade scandal where he gave 5-12% discounts on condo purchases to the Lee Family, including Old Fart and Pinky. Plus he was just caught playing with Iswaran. Is it any stretch of imagination to also assume he is playing with Shan?

Finally, the Judge mentions OBS health as a concern and mitigating factor in the sentencing. Are you kidding me? Since when was poor health used to mitigate a sentence? Singapore has the death penalty FFS. If the govt does not consider the death penalty as a sentence for the ultimate poor health, why would whatever OBS has be considered? So, I guess in Singapore if you are really sick and go out and commit a crime, you would receive a light sentence ALA OBS? What a fucking joke.

The judge also did not take into account OBS track record of giving illegal gifts to the high ranking govt. officials. The Prosecution also conveniently forgot to bring this up and say that he is a repeat offender. All in all, a very light $30K sentence, bordering on the absurd. For billionaire like him, $30K is a sup sup peanut money. He probably spends more then that on his dog. The optics are really bad for the PAP, but of course, gongkia sinkies are blind to it.

OBS is the real SG Iron Man ... untouchable & always under royal protection !
From HPL Nassim Jade scandal incident to recent F1 Iswaran ...
