PLA say sure can! Naked eyes also can see in few km mah! Will PLA missiles covering few hundred km, they already shot you from a loooong loooong distance away and went back back for tea break liao!

IAF are using very out-dated Russian radars.

The furthest ranged custom made missile PL-21 for J-20 to kill USAF & Japs AWACs is range exceeding 800km. Uniquely high world record and speed is between MACH4 & MACH5. This is under 8mins to shoot down AWAC at 800km - distance from Pee Sai to Hatyai (Thailand) or the south end of Vietnam also can reach. AWAC is very easy to track and can track them silently because AWAC emitted strongest radar signals of Mega-Watts power from their giant antenna dome, meant to cover air sea and land target scanning for about 600km, so you can pickup these signal from 800km to track the AWACs.

J-20 can sneak up to AWAC as close as below 100km to kill AWAC undetected, but not necessary as the PLA already use PL-21 Air to Air missile with 800km range. J-20 can kill any AWAC from absolutely safe distance, and update the AWAC position can be done by ground or sea or PLA AWAC via satellites to the PL-21 missile on it's route of less than 8 mins.

Once AWAC is shot down, all the USAF stealth jets, need to turn on their own radars, in order too see because their eye AWAC is dead, and once turned on their radars, they are no longer stealth, and exposed themselves to be killed by PL-21, PL-15, PL-12, different ranged and sizes of PLA missiles. PLA missiles are at range advantages, almost double the USAF. PLA can shoot at USAF before USAF missiles can reach PLA jets.

J-20 is only required at 1st stage to kill USAF AWACs, after which USAF lost stealth and their so called stealth planes are physically handicapped at lower speed lower ceiling and lower payload against the 3rd Gen PLA jets like J16 J-15 J-11 J-10 all can go and kill F-22 & F-35 with better speed, range, ceiling height and ammo payload advantages, on par in terms of visibility because all becoming non-stealth!


Against IAF, PLA can fix them even more easily with much better level of advantage.

  2018年3月22日,印度空军总参谋长达诺亚近日在接受采访时称,依靠现有的雷达,可以在几千米的距离上发现歼-20战斗机,而且一副能够从容应对的样子。笔者对这则消息的源头进行了梳理,多个来源都是可靠的,因此排除是假新闻的可能性。那么,达诺亚的说法究竟是否合理,其间有何值得细挖的地方?

  在最近接受采访时,印度空军参谋长达诺亚表示能在几千米距离上发现歼-20战斗机。

  首先需要明确的是,印度空军总参谋长所说的发现方式,是依靠其空军230分队的地面防空雷达。该分队有着悠久的历史,组建于20世纪60年代中期,也是印度空军第一个配备苏制P-30(M)雷达的单位。后来,该分队多次经过现代化换装,比如在1984年9月更换PSM-33雷达,后来又换装了TRS-2215雷达。关于该雷达分队的具体情况,互联网上的消息非常之少。

  第二我们再来看看参谋长达诺亚本人。达诺亚出生于印度的空军世家,他的爷爷参加过第二次世界大战。达诺亚从1978年6月开始服役,先后飞过HJT-16教练机、米格-21战斗机、美洲豹攻击机、米格-29战斗机和苏-30战斗机,是一名资深的飞行员,并且拥有过实战经验。按理说,这样的老飞行员对于空战有着很深刻的理解,但为何又发出如此让人大跌眼镜的言论呢?

  假设歼-20战斗机可以搭载雷石-6滑翔制导炸弹,那么用于对付印度空军230分队时,根本不用前出至距离其阵地几公里的区域上空。外销版的雷石-6制导炸弹射程可达60千米,相信国产版肯定会比这好。也就是说,除非歼-20战斗机加挂非制导的铁炸弹执行任务时,才会前进至如此区域。

  再则,我们也可以探讨几公里的距离对于空战意味着什么?像歼-20这样的战斗机用于对付非隐身目标时,通常都会在超视距展开,强调的是先敌发现、先敌开火、快速脱离。而超视距是指超过人眼能够观察到的距离,与之相对应的视距内。由于视力差距、天气条件和目标大小的影响,个人看到飞机目标的距离有远有近,比如在20千米的距离上可以看到轰炸机,但发现战斗机的距离为8~10千米。

  但为了便于讨论,一般将10~12千米以内的空战成为视距内交战,在超过12千米以上的距离进行空战即超视距交战。而且超视距交战还有细分,即100千米以内的距离被称作中距空战,100千米以上距离的交战则被称为远距空战。印度空军总参谋长达诺亚所说的几千米之内用雷达发现歼-20战斗机,这哪里还需要雷达,只要防空警戒哨瞪大眼睛,仔细留意空情,都能在这个距离上发现目标,所以达诺亚的说法是合理的,但并没有什么用处。

  达诺亚有可能是在偷换概念,也有可能是口误,总之这个说法是很上不得台面的。

  笔者猜测,印度空军总参谋长达诺亚可能不想尴尬地表明其对四代隐身战斗机的束手无策,因此采用了个偷换概念的方法。达诺亚在过去的很长时间内,在谈及相关问题时,对采取异常强硬的姿态。几公里之内发现歼-20,也有可能是达诺亚的口误,但作为一位资深的老飞行员、又是印度空军最高级别的军官,犯如此低级的错误,着实令人大跌眼镜。


  印度空军目前有31个18~20架飞机的战斗机中队,2019年将引入法国“阵风”战斗机,这些飞机都同歼-20存在着代差。因此,印度将从俄罗斯购买S-400防空导弹系统列入优先级,该系统主要的特征之一是具备反隐身能力。鉴于中国先于印度获得S-400防空导弹,因此其实这个举措的意义也不太大。(作者署名:云上的空母)

AWACs are main strategic eyes today, they fly high to have a longer radar view over further horizon and being slower and impossible to hide itself, they try hard to stay the furthest from threats, while their radar can sill see what they need to. They are also command center in the air in most cases, and whatever they see are shared to their ships and aircraft and ground units as well as back end such as Pentagon & White House.

Using these big Boeings which are similar to commercial airliners limit their max altitude to 12.5km around the same as airliners, hence limited their radar to cover a radius approx 600km. In the past this 600km was sufficient advantage as most air to air missiles can not hit more than 50km. This however turned to dead-meat when PLA's PL-21 long range A-A missile is tailor made to kill AWACs at 800km, at 4~5MACH speed. When AWAC see PL-21 coming as it reached 600km to target, (the 1st 200km is beyond AWAC's radar range hence it still don't know) it has only 6mins before being killed. MACH5 speed takes 6 mins to whack 600km. There is next to no defense, only desperate hope is to use radar counter measure hope to deceive the PL-21 missile to a falsely generated target by false signal. But PL-21 is highly intelligent and differentiates true and false targets, false IR decoys etc, because it is purpose built to kill AWACs.

PLA use J-20 to fire PL-21 and from very safe distance. J-20 itself is able to hide from radar detection and get close to AWAC sneak close without being detected till less than 100km, but unnecessary because PL-21 is more than enough long range. PL-21's 800km range actually make it possible to use non-stealth 3rd Gen warplane to kill AWAC, because firing at 800km there is still 200km away from AWAC's 600km radar range.

Normally, the F-22 & F-35 & B-2 etc can turn off transmission of own radar and stay in stealth mode. F/A-18 B-1B etc non-stealth planes can also turn off own radar transmissions, and watch their computer screen of what their AWAC radar can see, and attack targets without transmission of own radar signal. In this way for the so called stealth planes they can avoid detection because their own body reflects very little radar signals. The Non-Stealth ones, reflects a normal amount of radar signals and can hide only by flying extra low altitude below the radar scan beams.

The game changed when AWAC got killed. The remote superior eye is gone. Each individual stealth and non-stealth planes are forced to turn on own radar transmitter and exposed themselves lost stealth advantage completely, if they need to search and attack any target. They are otherwise quite blind, and can get themselves into nasty surprises. When not transmitting normal active radar emissions, the radar are in PASSIVE MODE. It is rather limited, as they can only see the others which are transmitting signals. This is like turning off your own torch light in the dark and you can see others whose lights are on, but you have no light to shine on anything else, you may stumble on something like a stealth plane up close to kill you.

The idea of AWAC is to be the powerful shared light house shining strongly from high and far away for all their own friends in passive mode trying to hide. The AWAC is like the stadium light tower for all the footballers in a way, but it won't reveal it's friends to enemies, When the stadium light tower got destroyed, every footballers are forced to turn on a smaller light mounted on their heads, that is when the enemies can see and aim at them, changing the game to non-stealth game.

USAF stealth planes compromised many of their own fundamental flight performance designs (speed, range, ceiling, payload) to achieve stealth properties. Hence when forced to fight non-stealth against other non-stealth enemies it is much handicapped in speed, range, ceiling, payload, got less missiles, lower speed, shorter range, and lower altitude performance, hence easier to be killed by their cheaper enemy planes.







This PLA AWAC drone flies 2X higher than USAF AWACs, 25km above sea level and thus sees much longer range. It can fly UNLIMITED Hours & Distance by autonomous refueling drones. It is world' largest drone. It is the most effective concept better than all other countries. The PLA drone fleet will fly a certain designated circuit 24Hrs, with other drones refueling them, and offer their under-ground command center a superior eye, and satellite link all their detected air + sea + land targets to all the selected PLA units. All these PLA tanks, planes, ships, subs, missiles, etc etc, will fight with divine advantages over enemies, because their world' highest altitude AWACs are their eyes. Enemies can not hide.

At 25km altitude (already close to space), only very few planes and anti-aircraft missiles can reach because it is quasi space, with ultra ultra thin air. So 神雕 drones are at supreme vision and safety. Flying above safely defended mainland of China, it can already see a very long distance way beyond the 600km limits of USAF AWACs which flies only 12.5km altitude (half of 神雕).

The furthest possible range for 神雕 radar can see 7000km!

To kill USAF AWACs, detecting it at 1200km~1500km is good enough.

Because for USAF AWAC to detect it's targets (e.g. PLA jet) at 600km, it has to transmit a Mega-Watt signal that reflects (2 ways) back and forth over a total of 600X2=1200km to detect that target, meaning that signal is strong enough to let Chinese AWAC see it 1200km away, one way.

Using the search light illustration, if you want your own search light to find a target 600km from yourself, your light source have to be strong enough to reach 600km to illuminate the target, and reflect sufficient light back so that you can see it from 600km. This however means that some one else from 1200km away can see you and your big fucking search light!

So, when PLA see USAF AWAC from 1200km, it orders a jet typically J-20 carrying a couple of PL-21 missiles to fly towards USAF AWAC, and start firing at it from about 800km away, before even the AWAC can see it!

The couple of PL-21 missile will fly for about 7.7 minutes to hit AWAC at MACH5 for 800km distance. The J-20 after shooting can immediately turn back to base for tea break. Chinese AWAC will update PL-21 missiles on the latest movements of USAF AWAC for the next 7.7 mins. For the 1st 1.7mins (1st 200km) the USAF AWAC have no fucking idea at all because it can only see 600km! And to do this, Chinese AWAC can do so without even turning on own transmission because it can see USAF AWAC even in passive mode, anyway, USAF AWAC can not even see the Chinese AWAC at 1200km or further away!

USAF AWAC will 1st get alert only when the couple of PL-21 missiles come close to 600km to target. From there @MACH5 it is only 6 mins for the USAF to panic it's own final 6 mins of fate. It can not run nor hide, nor there is any interception possible for something coming at MACH5 (hypersonic nearly 2X faster than rifle bullets).

1 hit is enough to kill AWAC flying at 12.5km altitude, but for the luxury of certainty surely 2 or more will be fired at it. There will be no survivor no parachute escape from 12.5km above sea level. The air temperature outside the plane is -55℃ at that altitude your consciousness may not last 40 seconds in that temperature and extremely low oxygen. You will find your long lost ancestors flying around yourself at 12.5km above ground! Reunited!

  在装备五代机方面,中国空军发展可谓如火如荼,而将中国作为追赶目标的印度貌似不太习惯,眼看着自己的五代机五代机不行,航母航母不行,便气不打一处来,但本着所谓的“大国心态”,想方设法的都要从中国这里找找存在感。

  据印媒3月24日报道,某从事现代化武器研究的空军高层表示,中国列装作战部队的新一代战机歼-20五代机达不到五代机的设计标准,隐形能力不够隐蔽,印度利用现有的防空系统可抓住中国歼-20的致命弱点,有信心击落它。

  据印度高官指出,中国歼-20配备的涡扇-10B发动机并不能实现超音速巡航,无论是隐身性能或者机动性能都不如美国的F-35和F-22喷气机。

  印度人意淫起来谁都挡不住,据此前央视报道和媒体分析,中国歼-20自换装涡扇-10B矢量喷口发动机,采用3D打印技术成形、符合材料成形技术,在体型远大于美军F-22的基础上,战机空重比美国F-22还轻5吨左右。

  所以,双发单座版歼-20实现超音速巡航根本不存在任何问题,更何况在歼-20实战演练的视频中已经实现了超视距打击。

  有意思的是,文章最后指出,据印度国防部官员匿名表示,与俄罗斯达成的初步协议中,印度将进一步了解俄罗斯S-400在伊朗、叙利亚、也门甚至巴基斯坦的交付及部署问题,而当前最担忧的是成本问题,这将关系到印度下个月访问俄罗斯时能否顺利签订引进S-400的协议。

  然而,作为印度的死对头、中国最铁的盟友巴基斯坦忍不住说出了真相,据巴基斯坦网友称,我不认为印度需要歼-20对付印度,歼-10就足够了,歼-20可以用来敲门,但它不是用来干重活的。

  有美国资深军迷称,这样想的话你们就小看中国了,中国歼-20一开始是为不使用加力推力燃烧室的前提下实现超音速巡航设计的,而涡扇-15发动机才是歼-20的标配,涡扇-10B只是过渡使用的发动机。

Because missiles are usually designed without stealth quality, so they exposed the stealth aircrafts carrying them, and radar can see several missiles together moving at speed and pattern of an aircraft which is invisible meaning there is a stealth warplane hanging these missiles under it's wing, because the internal stealth bomb bay is full already!

For this reason USAF F-22 & F-35 etc are forced to give up full ammo loading when they go for missions that requires stealth. A matter of fact is they are now throwing away their external fuel tanks for the same reason, some times, not even empty yet! Why? Because these external fuel tanks exposed them too! So USAF are forced to dump away their external tanks and lost fuel once they detect radar scanning towards them, and their mission don't allow their position to be exposed, they are forced to dump away! Pang Sai or Lao Sai!

The above photo shows PLA solution, and I bet Ang Moh will COPYCAT FROM PLA this idea soon! PLA got a smart material with high tech NEGATIVE REFLECTION INDEX to bend radar signals along their surface instead of reflecting like normal material, only China has it, that is THE PERFECT STEALTH SKIN.

The compartment under wing pylon is a stealth cover or invisible cloak to hide the missiles or huge bombs so that they won't expose the stealth J-20. They will open up only when missile is about to fire or bombs dropped. These became extra or external stealth bomb bays! Ang Moh don't have this yet! Ang Moh don't even have the Chinese science on this material!

This is how an F-22 Raptor becomes (almost completely) stealth.
Even if it has internal weapons bays, the F-22 Raptor stealth fighter plane relies on unstealthy fuel tanks when it needs to increase its range. Obviously, air-to-air refueling from a tanker is an option but since aerial refuelers are not always available, peacetime operations and deployments are normally conducted with external tanks carried on the underwing pylons.

But, if the operation required (almost) complete invisibility to radars, fuel tanks would be jettisoned and the scene would be more or less as the one depicted in the image in this post taken in 2004 during the first F-22 inflight external tank jettison test.

  最近,J20又传来好消息!什么好消息呢?先买个关子。隐身飞机大行其道的今天,隐身技术也变得不再神秘,人们也不再懵懂的认为隐身就是肉眼看不见。简单一点的来说,隐身技术就是根据电磁波的规律,然后针对雷达的工作原理,设计出的具有吸收雷达波的材料,或者设计出消除镜面反射和角反射的外形,以此来实现在雷达屏幕上消失的技术。

  目前世界上所有的隐身飞机,J20,F22,F35都是采用隐身外形以及喷涂隐身材料来实现隐身。但是,这样的隐身设计只是尽量的减少雷达波的反射,而并没有完全克服电磁波。因此,目前的隐身技术并没有做到不可探测。例如:当下最为热捧的毫米波雷达,就是针对隐身飞的克星。

  毫米波的频率在30千兆赫、94千兆赫、140千兆赫,是目前隐形技术不能克服的波段。毫米波雷达具有天线波束窄、分辨率高、频带宽、抗干扰力强等特点,因而反隐形能力较强。因此,目前世界上的主流反隐身技术都是采用毫米波雷达。该反隐身技术的发展,极大的威胁了隐身飞机的生存。我国在反隐身技术领域达到了世界领先的高度,因此,对于隐身技术的脆弱性有着比美俄更深的认识。

  鉴于意识到隐身技术的漏洞,我国科研工作者披荆斩棘,终于找到了更新、更强大的隐身技术,该技术的使用,将使得J20的隐身技术水平领先F22,实现真正的雷达隐身。这种新技术就是“超材料”。
