I ended up ditching those budget locks because I couldn’t trust them, and having something dependable mattered more to me. I switched to a setup with solid monitoring and cameras, and the one I liked most was from https://www.vivint.com/packages/security-cameras since it helped me keep an eye on things even when I was out. Pairing good cameras with a proper mechanical lock felt like a safer mix.
