Ng Man Tat was a hardcore CCP bootlicker (look it up), and he was a spiteful piece of shit when Chow Yun Fatt refused to lend him money to feed his gambling addiction.
Thanks for the funny roles in the movies (due to Stephen Chow's brilliance, rather than Ng's acting skills), but good riddance to bad rubbish.
