Many sporns may have read the book” rich dad, poor dad”
Poor dad asked the author to get a job after graduated but Rich dad encouraged the author to strike out on his own.
Talk cock very easy, everybody can do.
The gist is where to find true wealth in Singapore so you can gain financial freedom?
You see most locals in blue, in green, drive taxis, insurance agents, MLM business partners----do they find true wealth after 40 years of independence or still paying their debts??
In Singapore, what you do after graduation? Queue at CDC for a job to gain financial freedom?
Singapore has a cruel fetish, if you are an “A” students, they chop you to be govt officials, and if you have luck, you become millionaire serving the public office, gain financial freedom thus. But how many get this chance to get to the ivory and sit on the chair thinking how to earn money for the govt?
What has the govt done to make more millionaires locally or import more millionaires to par with the rich govt so it looks good on the outside ?
See, what trade the current Govt don’t do, from gambling horse to 4 D, from big time casinos to TOTO, what else is left for the locals to get rich.
Illegal drugs seem attractive but you face the gallows.
Take a look at the ministers and perms---they are millionaires in the making !
So what can you do to get rich? Do businesses with a high cost environment or you work to get rich?
Being employees are just earning a linear income, you stop working, your income stops. Linear incomes are for paying bills !
If you are a sexy lady, of course things get easy if you can be as daring as PRC mei meis , you will hit jackpot when the Moguls at the casinos fall in love with you for a few years , never mind he breaks your hymen. You make a tidy sum, set up saloons and get a few PRCs, and you live happily on the Soft rice.
It seems like being scholars and joining PAP at the ivory not only can you go expensive cook holidays, but also you will have no worry for your medical, utility bills, housing, holidays, family, etc.
Thousands and thousands of local students toiling hard in their study, serving the NS, but will only find a lucky few gaining real financial freedom at the ivory
And yet, sadly, the system is still an overnight sensation to nearly 70% electors.
Taiwan is very wrong to say local Singaporeans are stupid.
Almost 80% are commoners working for a job that pays a linear income; they are equally hardworking and law-abiding people unwittingly making the 20% richer and richer.
True wealth for the 80% local commoners in Singapore is just a pie in the sky or castles in the air, but wait, the PAP govt is not so heartless knowing commoners want to get rich fast, they give you TOTO and BIG SWEEP , and not long later, they give two casinos.
The next time you hear your graduate nephews and nieces flashing their certificates, tell them casinos and nurses are left for them, and get ready to pay for life for their expensive HDB beehives. Of course if they want more babies, working loyally for PAP may find themselves a bigger landed property.
ITE and U and polytechnic certificates may become one when Singapore becomes cosmopolitan.
The difference is the price that you pay for it, that is the bottom line of the current Govt.
The same problem they face is, they feel ashamed to be cleaners.
Nearly 70% voted PAP, graduates becoming like ITE and poly graduates have their majority parents (voters)to blame and not the system.
You see why defamation suits are effective in singapore becos it hurts where it hurts the most---the shallow pocket.
Getting rich in singapore? May be you should consider playing ping pong and billards for the familee.
cheers
