He argued that Singapore is "too small" to have 3 banks and needs to merge to "make headway" in the world.
Well.
He certainly does not have this opinion on Singapore having Temasek and GIC.
Why then, is it necessary to have both? Shouldn't they be consolidated as well?
Maybe he should be looking at merging his GIC, Temasek with DBS, instead of eyeing other people's banks.

I Agree, Since UOB is a better managed local bank with no Ah Neh or Ang Moh CEO, I fully support UOB take control over DBS, Is that what he ask for ?
