Only a country with natural resources and kind people is able to do that. Well done Malaysia, my future home country.. So proud of you.

s$1.5k a month? can buy kopi set and hump a prostitute every other day.

Malaysia might be an emerging economy but they take care of their citizens much better than us. Polyclinic visits are still capped at RM2, cost of living is still generally low (except in JB due to influx of Sg visitors) and all public servants get a lifelong pension.

See how many M'sians have made their mark internationally: Michelle Yeoh, Namewee, Lee Chong Wei, Nicole David, Jordan Yeoh, Shila Amzah, Yeo Yann Yann, Jimmy Choo, Tan Twan Eng, Tash Aw, Ling Tan, Ronny Cheng, Uncle Roger... the list goes on.

Even our most famous hairdresser (David Gan), actors (Xie Shaoguang, Huang Wenyong), politicians (Khaw Boon Wan, Amy Khor) and writer (Catherine Lim) were Malaysians.

Kudos to Malaysia. Malaysia boleh.
