China is overpopulated while sg is underpoulated. China chinese need to seek overseas job for a better living while sg need to seek migrants and ft to work for them. See which one is better.
If whole world having huge recession, china has it own agriculture, farms for food and dont need to depend on water from other countries. While sg depend on food and water supplies from other countries.
China chinese can chiong 10, 20 yrs overseas job and aft tat can retire peacefully. Sg here need to keep working until u die and high living expenses and also need to complete with ft for job. Sg can only be working middle class unless u born or strike rich.
