You want everyone here to believe that the PAP is useless and will bring about the downfall of Singapore. 70% of us dont believe you outright and even more dont believe you here. Even in a forum that is not exactly pro PAP , the people here, with the exception of a few,understand that nothing like what you say is happening. They may not like the PAP and I can understand that, but you are different. You try to bring everything they do into bad light. So how do you think we not just survived but thrived all this time? LHL considers Australia as Singapore's trusted friend. But:

1. While Singapore grants Australians visa-free entry, Australia requires Singaporeans to apply for entry visa before being led into Australia
2. When SGX wanted to buy ASX, Australia govt protested and barred the purchase, claiming it as hostile takeover.

Is LHL silly to think that Australia is our trusted friend?

When pap said is a trusted friend to sg, he meant trusted to pap but he didn't say to Singaporean..
Sg belongs to pap so he has the right to say that. Hence Aust reserve the right to ask for visa .
