LHL sued Roy because of CPF, not defamation

PM: Because you have been making more and more outrageous allegations about the CPF, stopping short of accusing me of doing bad things personally, but coming closer and closer to saying that. And at some point last year, when you published this post on 15 May 2014, I consulted my lawyers and it was completely unambiguous and I could not not act.

LHL claims it is outrageous, yet he has yet to refute all points raised by Roy on the CPF.

GIC, MAS have issued convoluted response which actually supports Roy's contentions.

Thanks to Roy, we know for a fact that CPF funds is used to generate 7 percent return for the government and sinkees get only 2.5 percent return. So, we know the government is ripping us off.

Roy made his point ...that PM was persecuting him because of his activism on the CPF issue. So, Roy goofed up with some defamatory comment. But he took it down when it was pointed out to him by the press.

LHL was given a public apology and the defamatory article was taken down. But that was not good enough. LHL wanted Roy to stop his activism on the CPF issue and attacks on the government. Since Roy was willing to do that, LHL decided to bankrupt Roy.

LHL didn't even bother to ask ...instead he asked the evil bayi to demand the sky from Roy. That show LHL is plain evil and vindictive. When you criticize his government, he goes after you with everything. The case of Amos Yee proves that point.

The Opposition should characterize the government as such and let's see how LHL sue.
