Before tiong phones came into the scene, LG phone was a very good alternative to Samsung. And they were relatively easy to install custom roms with back then.

LG is forever perceived to be the inferior Korean brother of Samsung. Other than some models of washing machines and refrigerators, I can't recommend anyone buying LG over Samsung (or another brand) for anything.

LG TVs are better than Samsung's.. They are the ones that have the latest technology for TVs. Even Samsung are getting the TV parts from LG.

It's not that inferior really. I actually enjoyed my LG phones that were bundled with subscription. I find them actually better looking than Samsung phones.

I used Nokia, Motorola, SonyE, LG, HTC, Samsung, Apple, Huawei before.
LG was considered very durable, dropped many times, still ok.

since I got Apple, i realized they are very fragile, so I made it a point to have phone case Samsung and Apple.
As for earlier phones, I never because back then, phone cases were more like fashion statement. Nokia and LG was very hardy.

You will find it hard to use phone case in the earlier Nokia, HTC, era.
