The LG G2 mini specs have been revealed by some leaked benchmarks, but it looks like it might be a disappointing smartphone.

The rumoured specs for the Sony Xperia Z1 mini suggest that it will be the first true miniature flagship smartphone, but the LG G2 mini will fall short.

If there is any truth in the LG G2 mini specs leaked by these GFX Benchmarks, we doubt anyone will be that inspired to purchase one next year.

A handset with the model number LG D410 has appeared on the GFX benchmark site, which is believe to be the LG G2 mini.

It is listed with a 4.3-inch display with a lacklustre 540 x 960p HD resolution, but at least features the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The benchmarks suggest it runs on a 1.2Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with an unknown amount of RAM.

This isn’t the most compelling specs sheet we’ve seen for a mid-range smartphone, especially as this is supposed to relate to the flagship LG G2.

The LG G2 runs on a quad core 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM, powered by a 3000mAh battery.

It also has a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920p Full HD display running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

Previous specs rumours for the LG G2 mini suggested that the device would be a little better powered, with a 4.7-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM like its sibling.

LG is heavily anticipated to launch the LG G2 mini at CES 2014 in early January. TrustedReviews will be on hand to bring you all the latest news as it happens.
