we are a small place and we cannot compare with big countries with long history, rich culture and rich resources. we are just a small little red dot. and we have come very far on the global stage.

there are many good things here for those who love this place. no country is perfect. no country is devoid of problems. it's all about what you want in life.

we have plenty of young 20s who are passionate about this small little dot. i have met many and many of them are committed to this little red dot. they are hopeful. they are not fearful and they will stay put given the mobility they have now. singapore is only a small growing city and you don't expect a gracious,cultured and matured society to emerge over-night.

i have seen bad and good aspects of our society. but we should not continue to ridicule our own people and applaud others. we should have some pride in our own little red dot. pastures are always greener outside. but no matter where you are, if you do not have the intelligence to survive, you will die....even given all the golden opportunities. do not look down on your own people and country. ...yes?
