Less than half of private university grads find full-time jobs, despite slight increase in salaries

I don't know why Singaporeans are still taking degree courses at private universities. These days we have so many local universities other than NUS and NTU:
Why pay more and get ridiculed for doing a private degree course ?
My former colleague's son was in a neighbourhood school, failed to qualify for JC or NUS, but was sent to Australia, where lo and behold, he returned with a medical degree. God help his patients after he starts practising in S'pore.

Those Australia grad sinkie dentists do a better job than NUS dentists from my experience, many years ago Raffles Dental had UK dentists but their EP not renewed and they can run circles over our local trained dentists

Your experience differs very much from my own. I used to visit dentists in private practice who are local grads, but switched to the National University Centre for Oral Health S'pore (NUCOHS) 6 years ago. All the NUS-trained dentists (including the students) were excellent. They were courteous, professional and extremely well-trained.
