總統蔡英文昨天下鄉台南，全程由退出民進黨、以無黨身分當選台南市議長的郭信良陪同，繼民進黨台南市黨部發表強烈譴責之外，民進黨南市議員邱莉莉也批評，蔡總統心知肚明郭信良用什麼方法拿下議長，挺英派不但在中評會為跑票議員開脫除名，現在蔡更和叛黨集團走一起，難道是為求在賴清德大本營突圍，不惜和叛黨集團的默契交換嗎？若蔡英文不認同民進黨的黨紀跟黨魂，何不自行退出民進黨用無黨籍尋求總統連任？
邱莉莉表示，民進黨市議會黨團透過公開且民主的程序，採用假投票推選她競選議長，郭信良見假投票票數不會過半，就與陳怡珍等人離席拒絕承認民主程序的結果，轉而與國民黨團合作，當選議長。
邱莉莉說，這些跑票議員當時將民進黨批評到體無完膚，現在蔡英文卻選擇與形象飽受爭議的叛黨人士合作，在基層已引起相當大的非議。蔡英文去年底因為民進黨地方大選大敗而辭去黨主席，現在又和叛黨議員同掛，難道沒反省自己該負的政治責任？還是只要為了能夠贏初選，什麼手段都沒有關係？
邱認為，要代表民進黨參選總統，需要具備「無私」和「不與惡為伍」的原則跟操守，如果為了贏什麼事都可以不擇手段，那麼請總統蔡英文退出民進黨的總統初選，不要再為難民進黨。
