Was that all he could answer? It seems like those were superficial, hiddened and politically motivated. Being a GIC members and reaped much benefit, was he afraid a new president might spot-check on his previous employer? If he stand as president, than any ill-doings can easily be covered. Am I not right Tony Tan? Besides, being PAP mouthpiece via SPH for so many years, it must have became part of your genes by now. If SR Nathan is the worse president in Singapore history, you are just his mould with slightly better PAP-backed background.

I will vote any Tom dick and Harry but NOT YOU MR TONY TAN.

With due respect, voting for Dr Tony Tan is voting for the PAP's man. Despite his denials, he is so intertwined & identified with the PAP that the government don't need to ask him to run for President, he'll just as well volunteer himself to be the President; knowing he'll win the full support of the PAP. It's a no brainer.

So it seems Dr Tony Tan will soon be proclaimed the next President of Sinkapore. The rest of the candidates will be disqualified!

Agree with u. His Papiness is deep in his blood, can't run. Even if there is an election I thk the 60% no brainers will still vote him in.
