Or is it the other way round? Singapore loves LKY, I mean when his wife was sick in London, we had an SIA aircraft flown specially there to bring her home for treatment. When she passed away, thousands went to the wake and gave her a resounding farewell on the day of her funeral with the pomp and ceremony as befitting a "First Lady."

I would have thought with her passing away, there would be an announcement that a Kua Geok Choo Foundation will be set up or something in a similar fashion. After all, one cannot bring it along with us after death has claimed our body and soul, right?

Maybe it is too early to judge but perhaps he is the kind of person who fights all his life to make Singapore a success story, not for the love of Singapore but more for the success of himself and family. Singapore and Singaporeans are just pawns he has put to good use to take him where he wants to go. Perhaps he has no soul?

"On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. I should be grateful to receive your guidance on a matter than arose during Health questions today. I asked the Minister of State about an article in today's press concerning Dr.[sic] Lee Kuan Yew's wife receiving preferential treatment—it was a big story. He merely said that a Department of Health spokesman had issued a statement this morning. I did not hear that statement, and I do not believe that anyone else did. Surely he should have given me a proper answer. His answer was bland and arrogant.

If you read the conversation, the Speaker of the House then shot down the MP's point of order asking about Kwa GC's preferential treatment.
