At this late age, I don't think Lau Cheebye would be interested in all this awards given to him by foreign Govts and institutions..

IMHO, if given a choice, he would rather be given another 50 more years to live in exchange for all this personal honours..

Many dictators don't want to die and the same goes for Lau Cheebye..

Its a tricky question from you.. It could go either way.. Nepotism will continue to prosper unless S'poreans themselves make the effort to change the status quo in this country by voting out the PAP in the next GE.. But its easier said than done..
