Singapore is centrally located in a region of peace, and growth, and benefits from that. The foundations were laid by the previous rulers, and the peoples are mostly law-abiding and orderly. Whether the PM in Singapore is doing the right thing or not, is up to the individual's judgement. The way I see it, it is an easy task for the leader. Just allow things to flow, people will do what they do, and the nation will prosper.
Just to prove my case, KL, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, even Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon have seen stability and growth the last couple of decades. Sg had a headstart. And politics in these countries have been somewhat more complicated than Peesai's.
Cheers!

sg is among the top 5 cities in the world to do business, right behind london, new york, paris and tokyo, in that order. excellent! it goes to prove that the sg pm is doing the right things and executing prudent policies.
