Latest win update causing problems?

johnny what windows are you using? Win8 or 8.1?

My free 8.1 hasn't caused me any problems.

Microsoft is very jealous of Apple's success with touch devices, so it attempted to leverage its traditional desktop businesses onto a touch-centric UI.
Hence Windows 8 was born.

This woman designed the tiles of Windows 8 UI.

Microsoft has some very brilliant employees. She is not one of them.

Don;t care about the tiles. I am almost 90% on desktop when using win 8 and 8.1. They do come in useful when i needed to do something. Say identifying a song. So i click on the shazam icon app and get it to identify a song. Now if this was before windows 8 i don't know if shazam has a website that actually identifies songs for you but probably not cos lots of issues with the microphone and all. You would need to use your smart phone for that.

One good thing about win 8.1 is they allow you to add in multiple e mail accounts and they arrange them nicely too.

Just installed a free 7-11 app from the store. Probably won't use it much but it's fun to just check it out.

Windows IS itself a bug! You are trying to use patch the small bugs on the big bug. Even if you get rid of the small bugs, the big bug is still there.

It's alright because my PC machine is a DIY machine with recycled parts. Something that I put together myself. I don't expect much from it so I'm not that upset about all the problems I have had with it.

I usually depend on my Mac for the important work. Though must say that the SSD on my PC is really nice as it cuts down the lag of a hard disk.. Was thinking about replacing my Mac's HDD with an SSD drive but decided instead to get an iPad. The iPad uses flash NAND which is pretty fast.

don't update windows. i don't see the need for all those windows update which are pretty irrelevant. a bad update would crash the operating system. i don't do any windows update on all my computers.

I'm using Win 7 & I have no intention of upgrading to 8. From what I've read 37% of users are still using XP while 44% are using Win 7.0.
Most users want to avoid the headaches of a new OS. Maybe that is why they are turning to the simpler tablets.

monthly subscription. i dun mind, as long as it works. win 8 does not work for me.

Sacked? She got a promotion after the release of Windows 8. Kissing ass does wonders for your career. ;)

You will be disappointed with Win 9 because I think Microsoft will eventually turn Windows into a monthly subscription service. Already the signs are there: they're promoting their own app store and always emphasizing on their own cloud services.

Ahh yes the full screen thing is irritating, don't know why need full screen, anyway I downloaded an app yesterday that can play the SG radio, that is not bad! Other times I just goto desktop and use it the same way as last time...

easier for me to just use win 7 and get round all the problem of win8
