It is a well-known fact that Asia is the place to go to if you want to try the weirdest foods like insects, dried lizards and even tuna eyeballs. Most of these strange foods come from China and these urine-soaked eggs that are considered delicacies further confirm the rumour that Chinese eat everything, says STOMPer Alex.

"These urine-soaked eggs are called 'Tong Zi Dan' which literally means Boy Egg in English.

"The vendors go around local primary schools to collect urine from boys who haven't gone through puberty. The boys willingly 'donate' their urine. When they need to pee, they will go out of the classroom and urinate into a bucket placed along the corridor.

"The eggs are soaked in urine for a day.

"Some believe that after eating the egg, you won't get a heat stroke during summer or feel sleepy during spring.

No. Not only these eggs, I wouldn't eat anything from China if I can help it.

Next trip there, have to figure out how to bring in my own lunch box. Damn, MacDonald's is beginning to sound good.
