Recently, a video titled "Prince of Wales" is leaking has been popular on social media. According to multiple British media reports on the 17th, the content of this video has been officially confirmed by the British army.

According to reports, the leaking "HMS Prince of Wales" (HMS Prince of Wales, R09) is an aircraft carrier that the British Navy served in December 2019. This ship is the No. 2 ship of the British "Queen Elizabeth" class aircraft carrier, and is also the eighth warship named after the prince of "Prince of Wales" in British history.

According to reports, this new service carrier with a cost of 3 billion pounds had a water leakage accident last Friday (15th). From the video, the water quickly flows into the cabin from the ceiling, and the water is deep to the ankle. It is understood that the accident occurred in the dormitory area of the ship's sailor. The ship was docked at the Portsmouth Naval Base at the time of the incident.

When the situation was announced to the outside world, a spokesman for the British Navy said the leak was "a minor problem in the internal system". The spokesman said that the ship's personnel had quickly isolated the leaking pipeline and pumped the water in the cabin. At present, the cause of the accident is still under investigation, but the British military emphasized that the accident "will not affect the various plans of the aircraft carrier."

However, the report also mentioned that the "Prince of Wales" has only recently carried out safety tests. The last test was mainly on the use of lifeboats, emergency slides and other equipment.

In fact, the leak is not limited to the "Prince of Wales". In July 2019, another British aircraft carrier, "HMS Queen Elizabeth" (R08), also had a leak, and the spread of the water covered multiple deck.

But after the accident, the captain of "Queen Elizabeth" said that this was not accidental. The captain said that in his experience, leaking warships is a "weekly problem" (weekly problem), and will not affect the safety of warships.

Since 2009, due to insufficient budget, the British government has repeatedly considered plans to abandon and rebuild the "Prince of Wales", which led to the ship's official start of construction in 2011 and official service in 2019.

In addition to this leak, the "Prince of Wales" aircraft carrier last appeared on the news because of noise. According to the British "Daily Mail" news on April 22, residents around Portsmouth had jointly protested that the ship was "too noisy."

Residents said that they could not go out during the epidemic, which was very irritable, and the fact that they could not open windows at home due to the noise of the aircraft carrier was equivalent to "even the right to open windows is also deprived." Residents also said that the ship's noise was so loud that "it doesn't work to cover your ears with a pillow."

SINGAPORE - Two Plaza Singapura eateries were forced to close early last night after their premises were affected by a sewage pipe that burst.
An eyewitness who was on the ground floor of the shopping centre at the time of the incident said he was first alerted of the matter when he saw waste water gushing out of a pillar under the escalator, citizen journalism website Stomp reported.

As the water smelled putrid, he suspected it came from a sewage pipe that burst.
The eyewitness said he then went down to the basement and saw water gushing down from the false ceiling panels of the mall's basement level one and onto the stalls beside the escalators at basement level two.
"It was like a waterfall in the middle of the mall," the eyewitness said.
As a result, two food stalls at basement level two had to close early for the day.
Although only two food outlets were directly affected, diners at other eateries on the same floor were also affected by the stench, as the smell from the sewage water quickly spread throughout the entire floor.
The eyewitness said the leak remained unfixed for a couple of hours and was still there when he left the mall at around 10.30pm.
Earlier this year in September, Tangs Market in Orchard Road had to unexpectedly put a stop to its business after sewage water flooded the basement of Tangs Plaza.
The entire level had to be evacuated when a pipe burst in the afternoon during renovation work, but thousands of commuters using the Orchard MRT underpass were still left reeling from the stench that stretched all the way to the station control at Orchard MRT.
